Your holiday cottage is located on a working farm, situated about a half a mile from the village of Bellingham in Northumberland.

The farm is a typical hill farm - with sheep and cattle in the fields - set in unspoilt countryside with breathtaking views across moorland.

Callerhues Crag Kielder reservoir is a short drive away and is northern Europes largest man-made lake with nearly 30 miles of shoreline. A large variety of activities are available there both in, on and around the water (see link opposite).

Surrounding the reservoir is England's largest forest - said to be the nation's most tranquil place.

Hadrian's Wall is easily reached by car - and is not to be missed. Roman Britain ended here.

A full-day excursion will take you to Northumberland's Heritage Coast - and to Lindisfarne, the Holy Island.

Above all - Conheath Cottage is a great place for walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching.
